HelloBiteOption 1 — delete inside the app (immediate)
- Open HelloBite and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Choose Account → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and content are deleted right away and you are signed out.
Option 2 — request deletion by email
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, email support@nextwaveinfotech.com with the subject "Delete my HelloBite account" from the email address your account uses. We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, confirming by reply. If you signed in with Apple's "Hide My Email", write from the address you can receive replies on and mention the display name used in the app.
What happens to your data
Deleted permanently
- Your account & sign-in identity
- All recipes, drafts & cookbooks
- Meal plans & grocery lists
- Profile, preferences & settings
- Public recipes you shared (removed from public view)
- Uploaded photos in your library
- Push-notification identity
- Remaining free credits / Plus entitlement link
Retained (limited)
- Purchase & billing records — kept as required by tax, accounting and fraud-prevention law
- Anonymous data not linked to you (e.g. shared dish cover images)
- Crash/diagnostic logs until their standard expiry (≤ 18 months)
- A hashed device identifier with its free-import counter — kept so free limits cannot be reset by deleting and re-creating accounts (contains no name, email or content)
Subscriptions are cancelled with the store, not with
us. Deleting your account does not cancel a HelloBite Plus subscription.
Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions,
or App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, or you may continue
to be billed by the store.
Good to know
- Deletion cannot be undone — export any recipes you want to keep (each recipe can be shared as a PDF) before deleting.
- Recipes other users saved from your public sharing remain in their libraries.
- You can create a new account later with the same email, but none of your previous content will exist.
